We specialise in the following specified systems:
SS5 – Escape Route Pressurisation Systems
We inspect and verify the performance of pressurisation systems that maintain safe escape routes during a fire. This includes testing airflow, pressure levels, and system response to ensure compliance with safety design requirements.
SS9 – Mechanical Ventilation or Air Conditioning Systems
Our team ensures that HVAC systems are operating as designed, providing sufficient ventilation and indoor air quality. We assess components such as air handlers, fans, filters, dampers, and controls, and confirm maintenance schedules are up to date.
SS11 – Laboratory Fume Cupboards
We inspect and test fume cupboards for proper face velocity, airflow patterns, and containment efficiency to protect users from hazardous exposure. Testing is performed using calibrated instruments and in accordance with NZS/AS standards.
SS13.1 – Mechanical Smoke Control Systems
We evaluate mechanical smoke extraction systems to ensure they function correctly in the event of a fire. This includes functional testing of fans, controls, dampers, and backup power, with full compliance documentation provided.
As an Independent Qualified Person (IQP) service provider, we support building owners and managers in meeting their obligations under New Zealand’s Building Act 2004 by providing inspection and reporting services for specified systems as part of the Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) process.
